YFoEE has organized "Training for Traineers: inclusive climate justice work" which gathered young people across Europe in August in Germany. The same participants have run many workshops and activities related to the social and environmental justice movement. Popular Education has been one the basis of this training where it was demostrated that everybody has knowledge to share and learn from the others. "The greatest climate resistances in Europe” was one of the activities where young activists explained their experiences related with different campaigns.

For three days in September, Ungdom NOAH/Young Friends of the Earth Denmark toured the north of Jutland to inform people about food sovereignty.

The group of activists joined the 'Aalborg bæredygtighedsfestival' festival, where 500 local people passed through their 'food sovereignty booth' and debated how we secure rights, health, biodiversity and climate in our future food system. Participants have competed to win badges stating "I know what food sovereignty is" and local fruit and vegetables.

As summer turned to autumn, young people from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland came together for three days on a farm on the
border of the north and south to build skills, knowledge and solidarity with farmers in the face of Brexit.

The Growing Together project brought the Friends of the Earth Ireland and Northern Ireland teams together to host a solidarity building farm residential at the family farm of Young Friends of the Ireland member, V'cenza Cirefice and her family in Newry, County Down.
